Because of a "dove", a restaurant worker was killed by a soldier from the Transitional Forces in Abyan

A restaurant worker was killed today, Thursday, by gunfire from a soldier in the Southern Transitional Council forces, in Mudiyah District in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen.

Local sources told "Yemeni Youth Net" that a dispute broke out between soldiers in the Third Support and Reinforcement Brigade and a worker at Al-Safwa Restaurant in the Al-Humaima area, after the soldiers tried to take a "pigeon" from the one he was raising next to the restaurant.

She added that the dispute developed into gunfire by the soldiers, which resulted in the injury of one of the workers, named "Saleh Nasser Bafaqir", who hails from Shabwa Governorate, noting that the workers tried to take the victim to a hospital, but he died.

The Third Support and Reinforcement Brigade, led by Nabil Al-Mashoushi, acknowledged the incident, saying that a dispute broke out between two soldiers from the brigade and one of the workers at Al-Safwa Station Restaurant.

The media of the brigade said in a statement that during the intervention of those present to try to break up the fight, gunfire occurred from one of the soldiers, which led to the injury of one of the workers, who in turn tried to intervene to break up the fight.

He pointed out that those present in the restaurant tried to take the injured man to one of the city's hospitals, but he died from his severe injuries.

He stated that as soon as the brigade command was informed of the incident, a force from the brigade moved to the scene of the incident and began collecting initial evidence of the incident and its circumstances, arresting the two soldiers and handing them over with their personal weapons to the Mudiyah Directorate Security Department to take and complete the remaining necessary legal procedures.
