Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, confirmed today, Sunday, that military victory is the only option to defeat the terrorist Houthi group supported by Iran.
During the opening of the 2024 Annual Analytical Conference in the Sixth Military Region, he stressed the importance of doubling the efforts of the armed forces units and enhancing their combat capabilities, leading to achieving self-sufficiency in the field of military manufacturing.
During the conference, which is held under the slogan "Through analysis and performance evaluation, we overcome challenges and achieve victory," Bin Aziz stressed the need for good preparation and qualification in preparation for the decisive battle, which the people of the country are looking forward to in the areas under the control of the Houthis.
The Chief of Staff reiterated that victory will not be achieved except through the solidarity of all heroes of the armed forces on various fronts of combat.
For his part, the commander of the Sixth Military Region, Major General Hekal Hantaf, explained that the conference, which will last for two days, aims to evaluate performance and analyze achievements to advance military work and enable the region to make informed decisions.
Major General Hantouf pointed out that the armed forces will remain the protective shield of the revolution, the republic and national gains.
