Yemeni parliamentarian, Sheikh Hamid Al-Ahmar, confirmed that Marib is resistant to the Houthi militia, and that the struggle of the Yemenis for liberation will not stop until the odious Houthi coup is overthrown.
He said in a post on the X platform, "The recent movements of the Houthis and their public mobilizations towards Marib are either an attempt to send messages to those who supported them and overlooked their crimes in the past that they still have power and presence with the aim of maintaining the negotiations that they previously dealt with without seriousness, or that they are actually preparing for a round that may be the last of the holocausts for those they mobilize without caring about their fates."
He added: "Whatever the Houthis' intentions, they know that Marib is beyond their control, God willing, and that the struggle of the Yemenis will not stop, God willing, until their hateful coup falls, no matter how long it takes."
Al-Ahmar noted that "the circumstances and parties that brought them to Sana'a and from there to many areas and continued to collude with them and hinder the liberation of the capital and the rest of the areas from their grip have changed."
The Yemeni parliamentarian warned Al-Houthi against continuing his losing adventures, saying: “Today, instead of increasing his large bill owed to the Yemeni people, Al-Houthi must choose the path of the inevitable end of his coup.”

Sheikh Al-Ahmar stressed that "the Yemeni people's hostility is with the Houthis as an entity and as an ideology, and not with those who forced them to fight alongside them, and they are not convinced by them or their ideology," stressing the necessity for everyone to stand against any new adventures by the Houthis to throw them into losing battles with their legitimacy and national army.
During the past days and weeks, the Houthi militia has intensified its hostile operations towards army positions on various fronts in Marib, in conjunction with the deployment of military reinforcements and combat equipment and the establishment of armed mobilizations around the governorate.
