Marib.. The Yemeni army announces the thwarting of Houthi militia infiltration attempts and targeting their sites

The Yemeni army announced today, Tuesday, the thwarting of infiltration attempts by the terrorist Houthi militia on the fronts of Ma'rib Governorate, northeastern Yemen.

Military sources told the Armed Forces Media Center that army forces targeted an armored vehicle belonging to the Houthi militia in the Madghal sector, north of Ma'rib Governorate, which resulted in the injury of four of its members and the damage of the armored vehicle.

In Al-Ghariqat sector, sources confirmed that army forces targeted a militia gathering and inflicted material and human losses on them. They also succeeded in neutralizing a sniper position in Al-Kassara sector.

The army forces also targeted a Houthi militia site in the Al-A'arif sector, killing one of their members, wounding others, and silencing the source of hostile fire. In addition, a bulldozer that the militia was using to create fortifications was damaged.

It also targeted militia sites and ammunition emplacements in the Balq sector, resulting in accurate hits and silencing enemy fire.

Along the front sectors, the Houthi militias continue to target army forces and positions with artillery and various types of ammunition, while our forces deal with these attacks and respond to the sources of fire, according to the sources.

The media center indicated that the reconnaissance and intelligence teams monitored the militias' movements and their continued construction of roads and the creation of new fortifications and sites.
