Muscat negotiations between the government and the Houthis regarding prisoners and abductees end “without agreement”

According to the Houthi leader accused of participating in the torture of kidnapped people in militia prisons in Sanaa, the negotiations resolved some knots, such as the fate of the kidnapped leader Muhammad Qahtan, and the exchange of lists of some prisoners.

The Islah Party had launched a severe attack on the negotiating government delegation, considering it a delegation that does not represent legitimacy, because of what the Houthi leader reported that the negotiation took place on the condition that the exchange be made with Qahtan, alive or dead, which the party described as “immoral” dealing.
