Hodeidah: Yemen Youth Net - Exclusive

The Tihama Peaceful Movement reiterated its commitment to the option of regions within a federal state and its right to struggle by all available means to liberate the Tihama region from the terrorist Houthi militia.
This came in a statement - seen by Yemen Youth Net - by the head of the Tihama Peaceful Movement and leader of the Tihama Resistance, Abdulrahman Hijri, on the occasion of the thirteenth anniversary of the launch of the Peaceful Movement, which falls on March 15 of each year.
Addressing the people of Tihama, Al-Hajri said, "This is the day of your glory and honor, the day of the land and the people of Tihama." He pledged to follow in the footsteps of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of God, out of respect for Tihama and its people, and to move forward to achieve honor and dignity for Tihama and its people.
He added: "You have rejected a life of humiliation and degradation, exclusion and marginalization, and on this day you have revolted against injustice and tyranny, confronting those who sought to enslave the Tihami people and deprive them of their legitimate right to equal citizenship and to a true national partnership in wealth and power. This is the injustice that unjust regimes continue to practice against Tihama and its people."
Al-Hajri affirmed that Tihama would not relinquish its regional authority and right to self-determination. Addressing the Houthis, he added, "If you persist in your domination, the Tihama movement and its valiant resistance will be forced to raise the ceiling of its demands and demand self-rule."
The head of the Tihama Movement Council called on the legitimate government authorities to give Tihama its due rights, grant it absolute powers, and halt its implementation of the Stockholm Agreement, which is unfair to Tihama. He pointed out that Tihama and its people deserve protection of the Red Sea and a halt to Houthi attacks on trade routes.
At the end of his statement, Hajri reassured the people of Tihama living in areas under Houthi militia control that the day of liberation from the militia was near.
The head of the Tihama movement said, "Our people in all parts of Tihama who live under the rule of these terrorist militias, we know and are aware of what you suffer from the tyranny and arrogance of these filthy scum, and we know that you and all the sons of the nation are awaiting the day of deliverance from this rebellious group that has deviated from the path of the true religion and the republican approach, and we tell you that the day of deliverance is near, and then you will be our support and our help against them, and tomorrow is near for those who see."
