Security forces arrested 194 African migrants as they were illegally entering the coast of Shabwa Governorate (southeast Yemen).
The Ministry of Interior's Security Media Center announced on Friday that Shabwa police arrested 194 migrants from the Horn of Africa as they attempted to enter the country illegally by sea on a boat called "Al-Qalaa" off the coast of Kida in Radhum District.
He added that the majority of the arrested migrants were Ethiopian, numbering 121 (70 women, 46 men, and 5 children), while the other 73 were Somalis, most of whom were male.
The statement indicated that the police took legal action against Africans who arrived in the country illegally.
