Elements of the terrorist Houthi militia brutally assaulted an Ethiopian resident in the city of Dhamar, south of the capital, Sana'a.
Human rights sources said that the Houthi militia assaulted an Ethiopian resident in Dhamar named "Abdul Qader."
The sources added that the militia members beat the elderly Ethiopian man with rifle butts until blood flowed from his forehead, because he was not carrying identification papers when he left work.
The sources indicated that the elderly Ethiopian man resides in Dhamar legally and struggles to make a living despite his disability.
The incident highlights the ongoing suffering of African migrants in areas controlled by the Houthi militia, as human rights reports have documented the killing and wounding of dozens of them by Houthi militia bullets, in addition to widespread violations that have affected them over the past years.
Abdul Qader, an Ethiopian citizen, lives legally in Dhamar and struggles to make a living despite his disability. His old age and health did not help him in the face of the brutality of the Houthi militias, who attacked him with rifle butts simply because he did not have his identification papers with him when he left work!
