Islah Party calls on the Presidential Council to mobilize efforts to restore the state and end the Houthi militia coup

The Yemeni Congregation for Reform party renewed its call to the Presidential Leadership Council to mobilize energies and capabilities to end the Houthi militia coup and restore state institutions.

This came in a statement by its General Secretariat on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, according to the party’s website, “ Al-Islah Net .”

The statement pointed out that this year's month of Ramadan comes at a time when a large part of the struggling and patient people is still groaning under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia, which has sought to mortgage our country to the interests of hostile regional powers, and to achieve racist goals, disregarding the will of the Yemenis, and risking the interests of the people and the homeland.

He pointed out the crimes and violations committed by the terrorist Houthi militia in order to impose itself, which are shameful, from killing, bombing and destruction, to displacement, blowing up homes, planting mines, kidnapping, terrorizing and torture, looting and theft of public and private property...

The party's statement addressed the advent of the holy month, in light of the worsening economic and living conditions, as the people suffer from economic collapse, the deterioration of the value of the local currency, and the frightening rise in prices, as a result of the coup and the war imposed by the Houthi militia and its supporters, and its practices that have affected all aspects of life, and turned the lives of Yemenis into hell.

The Islah Party stressed that the Presidential Leadership Council and the government should assume their responsibilities before the people and the nation, by mobilizing energies and capabilities and unifying ranks to restore the state and liberate the nation and its kidnapped capital, in a national leap that history will record.

In the face of these challenges, and as we welcome this holy month, we must re-evaluate ourselves and correct the imbalances, in order to achieve the purpose of fasting, as we fight a national battle against the worst racist criminal gang, devoid of morals, values and patriotism, which has made the month of Ramadan a season of brutality, violations and theft, while throughout history it has been a season of virtues, solidarity and cooperation in all parts of Yemen.

In this context, the Yemeni Islah Party renews its congratulations to the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components, whose formation was part of further unifying efforts towards restoring the kidnapped state, and mobilizing Yemenis at this historic moment to liberate the homeland, return the displaced, and get rid of the terrorist Houthi militia and Iranian guardianship, in order to achieve sovereignty and independence, and in victory for the will of the people who adhere to their republican system.

We also commend the great role and well-known positions of our brothers in the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in supporting Yemen, its people, leadership and government, and we appreciate their generous support in the economic, developmental and humanitarian fields.

We salute and honor the symbol of Yemen’s pride and struggle, the men of the armed forces, security forces and the valiant resistance, stationed on the battlefronts, defending the homeland, identity and dignity, and the wounded and injured, and the kidnapped and prisoners in the prisons of the Houthi militia, headed by the national and political leader, Mr. Mohammed Qahtan, member of the Supreme Reform Commission, and all the honorable people of Yemen who are making great sacrifices for the sake of national salvation.

This is an occasion on which we call upon all Yemenis, especially the members of the Islah Party, its leaders and cadres, to unite and cooperate, help the weak and needy, revive the spirit of solidarity, alleviate pain, bridge relations with all national and societal forces, and contribute to everything that achieves the public interest and enhances security and stability.

Finally, we ask God Almighty to make this holy month full of acts of obedience, good deeds, righteousness and charity, and to bring it back to us with peace, security, victory and salvation for our country, and goodness and development for our people.

We ask God for mercy for the righteous martyrs, healing for the wounded, and freedom for the prisoners and kidnapped.
