The Yemeni army announced, on Sunday, that its forces had repelled hostile operations by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on several fronts in the governorates of Marib, Al-Jawf and Taiz.
A military source told the Armed Forces Media Center that the army forces dealt with enemy fire sources on a number of fronts in Marib, and were able to destroy artillery positions, silence them, and kill and wound a number of militia members.
The army artillery also targeted heavy equipment that the Houthi militia was using to create fortifications, roads and trenches on the western fronts of Ma'rib Governorate, and was able to damage some of the equipment and neutralize others.
On the northwestern fronts of Marib, army forces responded to hostile operations in which the Houthi militia used artillery, mortar shells and drones.
On the fighting fronts east of Hazm Al-Jawf, the army forces responded to sources of fire hostile to the Houthi militia in the Al-Alam, Al-Jadafer and Shahla sectors, and were able to silence them.
