Announcing the launch of Jarham Media and Development Foundation in Ma'rib Governorate

Today, in Ma'rib Governorate, a ceremony was held to announce the launch of the "Jurhum" Foundation for Media and Development, and to celebrate the publication of the second issue of its comprehensive quarterly magazine, amidst a large official and popular presence.

The Deputy Director of the Foundation, Mazen Al-Shawki, said during the launch ceremony that the Foundation seeks to achieve a set of goals that ensure contributing to delivering the purposeful media message to all segments of society.

He stated that the Foundation seeks to advance cultural and media work and build an aware nation, by contributing to works and activities that work to protect society from infiltration and false cultures, and to consolidate the national identity.

Two speeches were given at the event about Sheikh Murad bin Mu’ayli, one of the founders of Marib, delivered by “Qaed Jaradan”, and a speech about women was given by “Munira Al-Warqi”. A number of poems, chanting pieces and traditional folkloric dances were also presented, which were admired by the attendees.
