The national team loses to Saudi Arabia in the 26th Gulf Cup

Our national football team lost to its Saudi counterpart by three goals to two in the match that brought them together, on Wednesday evening, at Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Ahmad Stadium.
The Saudi national team turned the tables on the Yemeni national team in the second group of the Gulf Cup (Gulf 26).
Our national team took the lead through Haroun Al-Zubaidi with a beautiful header after a perfect cross from Abdul-Wasea Al-Mutairi in the 8th minute.
In the 27th minute, Abdul Majeed Sabara added the second goal for Yemen after exploiting a disastrous mistake by Al-Bulaihi in the penalty area.
Immediately after, the Saudi team reduced the score in the 30th minute through Mohammed Kano.
In the 57th minute, Musab Al-Juwair equalized for Saudi Arabia from a penalty kick, before Abdullah Al-Hamdan scored the winning goal in stoppage time (93).
With this result, the Saudi team raised its score to 4 points, while the Yemeni team's score froze at one point.
