Boris Johnson reveals: Netanyahu planted a listening device in my personal bathroom

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu planted a listening device in his personal bathroom during a visit to him when he was Foreign Minister in 2017.
Johnson claimed in his autobiography that when the Israeli prime minister visited his government headquarters in 2017, his security team found listening devices in the toilets after he used the facilities.
Johnson said that during their meeting in his old office, Netanyahu excused himself to go to the bathroom, and he wrote in his book “ Unleashed ”: “Bibi (Netanyahu) was there for a while, and it may or may not have been a coincidence, but I was informed that later when they were doing a regular sweep for bugs, they found a bug in the bathroom box.”
Asked in an interview with The Telegraph if he could provide any further details about what happened, Johnson said: "I think everything you need to know about this is in the book."
It is not yet clear whether Israel has been questioned or reprimanded over the incident. At about the same time, Israel was accused of planting eavesdropping devices in the White House.
According to US officials, Washington has concluded that Israel was likely behind the placement of cellphone surveillance devices found near the White House and other sensitive locations around the capital.
Although he never worked for Israel’s Mossad spy agency, Netanyahu is known to have worked closely with it. As the second-largest spy agency in the Western world after the CIA, it focuses on foreign intelligence gathering and covert operations.
