The wishes of the people of the Gaza Strip for the New Year revolve around the end of the war and the cessation of bloodshed, for the wheel of life that has stopped to turn again, for the sounds of missiles to disappear, for the terror that is spreading everywhere to end, for the routine of life to return to what it was before the war, and for them to return to what remains of their homes, even if they are in rubble.

The Israeli occupation army continues its war on Gaza for the 451st consecutive day, through violent bombing targeting various parts of the Strip, which leads to the deaths of dozens of martyrs and wounded daily.

Inside dilapidated tents that do not protect against the cold or the rain, and under a sky teeming with Israeli warplanes and reconnaissance planes, the forcibly displaced Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip are living in harsh conditions, in light of the ongoing genocide for 14 months.

Twenty Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombardment of the displaced persons camp in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, while Hamas confirmed that the occupation army’s continued demolition of residential neighborhoods and squares constitutes “an unprecedented war crime in contemporary history.”

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center announced on Saturday the signing of a cooperation agreement to establish a residential complex for internally displaced persons with its service facilities in Midi District, Hajjah Governorate, northwest of Yemen.

A recent government report revealed that nearly 16,000 displaced people in Marib Governorate (eastern Yemen) were forced to leave their homes and take refuge in displacement camps in the governorate since the beginning of this year.
