Taiz after opening the port!

From the first moment the outlet was opened, the flow from outside the city towards it was terrifying, unexpected, in a way that showed that those besieged were those outside it and not those inside, and this flow continued to increase terribly day after day, and it was most likely that this large number of arrivals were just visitors, driven by longing to enter, but with the passing of days it became clear otherwise, it became clear that thousands of families were determined to live in the city at any cost, as they were tired of remaining within the authority of the Houthi militias.
The demand for housing and apartments in the city became great and the availability was small, as there was no large gap to accommodate those looking for housing; so the logic of housing reality in the city changed, and the search for housing became the stock exchange of the moment, and the tempting rent was enough to turn the balance of stability, and whet the appetite of property owners to tighten the noose on old tenants, and demand from them double what they were paying before the opening of the outlet or to vacate their homes to rent them to expatriates in hard currency, and thus the housing crisis began to worsen and the residents felt the size of the disaster brought by the opening of the outlet and the transformation of supplication into an inability to keep up with this recklessness.
The face of the city changed negatively after the opening of the outlet, and its formations changed. Traffic movement in it was regular and proceeded according to disciplined traffic rules, but the large influx into it and the large number of new residents in it created a stifling traffic crisis. The streets are crowded with vehicles, motorcycles and passenger buses, due to the narrowness of its streets. This dilemma caused paralysis in movement and stifling traffic congestion.
Some may consider that this serious problem that befell the people of Taiz after the opening of the outlet is not real or logical, and giving it any consideration is a deviation in political awareness, regional bias, and an unrealistic illusion, but I confirm that this is the truth that has exacerbated the living conditions in Taiz, and has made the lives of the vast majority of its residents miserable, who have sacrificed their lives and heads to liberate and defend the city for ten years, including martyrs, wounded, and those stationed on the front lines, and citizens who have endured the harshest threats of death in the Houthi war or in peace, enduring the difficulty of survival, wrestling with all the obstacles preventing their survival in it, and now their existence in it has become threatened with exile and abandonment of their survival due to their financial inability and the onslaught of the moment on them with its new developments and emergencies.
The issue must be looked at closely and legal treatments must be put in place to regulate the state of crowded housing and provide a suitable environment for everyone, ensuring coexistence and harmony and enduring the harsh conditions for those inside and those who came from outside. Taiz embraces everyone and is broad-minded enough to accommodate everyone and embrace them with welcome and safety.
