The Al-Qassam Brigades mourned the martyrdom of a leader by Israeli occupation forces in Tulkarm camp, yesterday evening, Wednesday, while the Shin Bet announced that it had assassinated a Hamas official in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of the young man, Hussam Bassam Yousef Malah (30 years old), by the bullets of the Israeli special forces.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted Faisal Salama, head of the Popular Committee for Services in Tulkarm Camp, as saying that a special unit of the occupation army executed the young man, Mallah, at point-blank range with several bullets that penetrated his body, while he was in a supermarket on the service street near the entrance to the camp.
Salama added that this special force infiltrated the camp in a public taxi and another "tender" carrying a number of sheep behind it, noting that the force withdrew immediately after assassinating the young man.
For its part, the Shin Bet announced, in coordination with the Israeli army, the assassination of a Hamas official in Tulkarm who was planning to carry out operations soon, according to his claim.
The Al-Qassam Brigades mourned the "navigator commander" who was martyred in an assassination operation in Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, stressing the continuation of the resistance operation until the occupation is defeated.
This brings the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023 to 764, in addition to about 6,300 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Storming Qalqilya
In a separate incident, WAFA reported that a worker was shot by occupation soldiers near the racist separation and expansion wall built on the lands of the town of Habla (south of Qalqilya) while trying to reach his workplace inside the 1948 territories.
On the other hand, Palestine TV (government) later said that the Israeli army stormed the city of Qalqilya and fired gas bombs. The TV broadcast video clips showing smoke among the city's shops.
On Wednesday evening, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Khader (south of Bethlehem), firing sound bombs and toxic gas, without any injuries being reported.
A child was injured by live bullets during clashes between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces in the town of Beit Ummar (north of Hebron).
The occupation soldiers raided this town and fired live bullets and tear gas canisters, which led to 3 Palestinians being injured by rubber bullets and others suffering from suffocation. This is the second raid in the past few hours.
