The General Administration of Legal Affairs at the Central Bank of Yemen, in coordination with the Training and Qualification Department at the Attorney General’s Office, organized today in the interim capital, Aden, a specialized training workshop on prohibiting the disclosure of secrets and preparing seizure reports and administrative reports.
During the opening, the Governor of the Central Bank, Ahmed Ghaleb, stressed the importance of this workshop and its role in spreading legal awareness and enhancing common understanding among specialists in state agencies dealing with justice authorities.
He pointed out that the workshop comes within the efforts to raise awareness of banking legislation and money exchange operations. He also stressed that disclosing professional secrets represents a flagrant violation of the laws and a breach of trust, appreciating the cooperation of the Attorney General's Office in organizing this event.
The three-day workshop is attended by 35 trainees from the Central Bank’s employees and relevant authorities. It includes interactive discussion sessions on the criminal and civil liability of banks, the tasks of monitoring and inspection of financial institutions, and the mechanisms for preparing seizure reports and administrative reports.
