Ibb.. Five people from one family killed and injured in a family dispute in Baadan

Five people from one family were killed and injured by gunfire from one of their relatives in a family dispute in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), amid security chaos in the governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources said that five people were killed and wounded by gunmen from the same family in the village of Beit Al-Hanash in the Dalal district in the Baadan district, east of Ibb, following a dispute over a road between the two families.

The sources added that the person called (Khaled Saleh Al-Amari) got into a dispute with his cousins over a road dispute, before he shot a number of them yesterday, Tuesday.

The sources explained that the incident resulted in the death of (Ali Naji Al-Amari and Ziad Al-Amari), and the injury of (Ismail Al-Amari, Dahan Al-Amari, and Aseel Abu Bakr Al-Amari).

The sources indicated that the perpetrator had barricaded himself in his house and was shooting at anyone who approached his house, which made it difficult to reach or arrest him.

Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, is witnessing massive security chaos and a noticeable increase in local conflicts, in light of the militia’s absence of the judiciary and the involvement of its leaders in fueling these conflicts.
