A citizen was shot by a shop owner, following a financial dispute between them in the city of Ibb (central Yemen), amid the widespread security chaos witnessed in the governorate under the control of the Houthi militia.
Local sources said that a dispute over an amount of 20 thousand riyals broke out between Omar Al-Wasabi, the owner of an (umbrellas and tarpaulins) shop, and a citizen named (Khaled Abdullah Ali Al-Qatawi) in the center of Al-Dhahar District.
The sources added that the dispute escalated between the two parties, and Al-Wasabi shot Al-Qatawi, which resulted in him sustaining serious injuries, after which he was transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, is witnessing widespread security chaos and the widespread use of weapons, which has increased the severity of criminal crimes.
