A 14-year-old boy was killed in mysterious circumstances in one of the towns of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), which is under the control of the Houthi militia and is witnessing widespread security chaos.
Local sources said that a boy named Malik Al-Hudhaifi, 14 years old, was found hanged in the Ardan district of Al-Udain, west of Ibb.
The nature of the incident is not known, whether it was a suicide or a murder, but community demands stressed the need to investigate the incident and reveal its circumstances to public opinion.
In recent weeks and months, a number of children and young people have died in similar incidents, some of which were later found to be criminal offences and domestic violence crimes, while the rest were recorded as suicide incidents.
