42 people were killed and injured in separate criminal incidents in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen) during last January, amid the massive security chaos witnessed by the governorate, which is under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia.

The editor of "Yemeni Youth Net" monitored the killing of 25 people and the injury of 17 others, including children and women, in criminal incidents witnessed by various directorates of the governorate during the past month.

The murders included 8 murders due to land disputes, personal disputes, and local disputes, 5 murders due to tampering with weapons, 4 murders with mysterious motives, 2 murders by Houthi elements, 2 murders due to domestic violence, 2 suicides, 1 murder due to a blood feud, and 1 murder due to electrical shock.

The injuries were distributed among 7 cases related to land disputes, personal disputes, and local disputes, 6 cases of tampering with weapons, 2 cases of injuries by Houthi gunfire, and 2 cases as a result of a gas cylinder explosion.

Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, is witnessing a massive security chaos that has increased the severity of murders, exacerbated by the militia’s disruption of the judiciary and transferring cases to Houthi leaders and prominent figures affiliated with them for the purpose of financial gain.
