Hadhramaut.. Al-Hammoum tribes extend their deadline to the second local and military authority for a week to implement their demands

The Hamoum tribes extended their deadline to the local authority in Hadramaut and the Second Military Region for a week to implement their demands and stop the establishment of a camp in the Ras Baghwa area, in the Eastern Dis District.

A tribal source told "Yemen Shabab Net" that the Hamoum tribes postponed the escalation that was scheduled for Saturday, June 13, for a week, with an expanded meeting to be held next Saturday to discuss the matter.

The source confirmed that if the demands of the people of Hamam and Eastern Province are not implemented during the current week, the date for escalation and mobilization will be set next Saturday.

Last Tuesday, the Al-Hamoum tribes and the people of Al-Deis Al-Sharqiya announced that they would give the local authority and the second military region three days to implement their demands, unless they would invite all the tribes and Maqadma of Hadhramaut to gather in the Bagshwa area in Al-Dis.

The members of the Hamoum tribes and the people of the Ras Baghshwa area demand stopping any developments and establishing a camp in the Ras Baghshwa area, noting that “the site is considered the only park and outlet for the people of the region.”

The tribes also demand the opening of Al-Rayyan Airport, and finding solutions to the suffering of fishermen in the eastern Al-Qarn and Al-Deis region, and the curfews, harassment, and confiscation of their equipment by the coast guard in the region.
