On Saturday, the Al-Jaadna tribe rejected a request by the forces of the UAE-backed Transitional Council to establish a camp on its land in Abyan Governorate, demanding that the fate of its son who has been forcibly disappeared since last June in Aden be revealed.

The tribe's sheikhs said in a statement, seen by "Yemeni Youth Net", that "the tribe decided to reject any camp on its lands for any forces, stressing that it protects its land from any terrorism before the state's presence."

The tribe's sheikhs confirmed in a statement signed by 17 sheikhs of the tribe, that "no problem occurred on their land," denying "the presence of any Al Qaeda camps on their land."

It is noteworthy that the Transitional Council forces had asked the Jaadna tribe to establish a camp in the Lahmar area, the birthplace of the missing Ali Ashal, affiliated with the Mudiyah Directorate.

The tribe demanded that the member of the Presidential Council and head of the Transitional Council, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, reveal the fate of its son, who was kidnapped by the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant Colonel "Ali Abdullah Ashal", within a short period, threatening to escalate against all the interests of the Transitional Council, according to what was stated in the statement.

On June 12, 2024, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal was kidnapped by gunmen driving a white Nissan Voxy in the Al-Taqniya area of Aden. His fate remains unknown to this day.
