Ibb: Yemen Youth Net - Special
Armed groups coming from Al Dhale Governorate (southern Yemen) stormed a car showroom in the city of Ibb (central Yemen) yesterday evening.
A source at the Al-Jazeera Car Showroom, located at the Maitam Junction east of Ibb city, said that armed groups came from Damt District, which is affiliated with Al-Dhale’ Governorate and is under Houthi control, and stormed the showroom and kidnapped its guard.
The source added to "Yemeni Youth Net" that the gunmen also looted a car and a locomotive head, and left the governorate without any objection from the Houthi checkpoints deployed along the road, despite a report being filed by the exhibition management.
The source attributed the incident to a dispute between the owners of the exhibition and a person from Damt over an amount of (3000 SAR) following a sale.
The source pointed out that despite what the exhibition had been exposed to, it was now facing a problem with the owner of the looted "locomotive head", who in turn filed a report against the exhibition, claiming that it had not protected the "trust."
Ibb Governorate is witnessing a security chaos and a widespread spread of gangs and armed groups that spread chaos, murder and looting amid the failure of the militia to maintain security in the governorate that it has occupied for ten years.
