Today, Sunday, the Laqmush tribes in Shabwa Governorate lifted the sit-in camp, after the intervention of a tribal mediation that pledged to follow up on the issue of the tribe’s disappeared members in the prisons of the Southern Transitional Council in the interim capital, Aden.

A tribal source told "Yemeni Youth Net" that a tribal mediation intervened with the Laqmush tribes and convinced them to remove the sit-in camp that they had set up last Thursday in the Al-Aram area in Habban District.

He added that the mediators pledged to follow up on the case of the sons of "Saeed Omar Maqdah" (Saleh and Mohammed), who have been hidden in the prisons of the Transitional Council for nine years, and to make efforts to release them.

Last Thursday, the Laqmush tribes set up a camp in the Al-Aram area in Habban district, to demand the immediate release of their sons who have been hidden in the prisons of the Transitional Council in Aden since 2016.

The tribes took the step of a peaceful sit-in after their efforts and meetings with the local authority and the Southern Transitional Council in Shabwa reached a dead end.
