UN report: 25 Yemeni families displaced during the past week

The International Organization for Migration announced the displacement of 25 Yemeni families over the past week for economic, security, and health reasons.
In its weekly report issued Tuesday, the organization said that its displacement tracking matrix monitored the displacement of 25 families (150 individuals) during the period from March 16 to 22.
She explained that the displacement movement originated from Hodeidah, Taiz and the capital, and moved to Marib with (12 families), Hodeidah with (8 families), and Taiz with (5 families).
The report stated that 68% of the total new displacement cases, 17 of whom were displaced due to safety and security concerns, while 8 families, representing 32%, were displaced due to economic reasons related to the conflict.
He noted that 40% of newly displaced families are in need of shelter services, 28% of them need cash assistance, while 24% of them lack food supplies and 8% of them lack non-food services.
The report indicated that the total number of displacements since the beginning of this year has risen to 458 families (2,748 individuals).
