Taiz Security Committee stresses the importance of vigilance and caution on military fronts

The Security Committee in Taiz Governorate stressed, on Sunday, the importance of vigilance and caution on the military fronts with the terrorist Houthi militias supported by Iran.

This came during a meeting chaired by the Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Commander of the Taiz Axis, Major General Khaled Fadel, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Governorate for Defense and Security Affairs, Major General Abdul Karim Al-Sabry, and the Advisor to the Taiz Axis, Brigadier General Abdo Farhan.

The first Ramadan meeting discussed the latest developments in the military and security situation in the governorate, according to the Armed Forces Media Center.

The meeting focused on following up on the implementation of the outcomes of the previous meeting, the progress of work at the eastern port, and enhancing coordination between security agencies and military units to ensure security and stability.

The committee also reviewed the extent of implementation of the security deployment plan for the holy month of Ramadan, which was approved by the committee in its previous meeting, and related to regulating the carrying of weapons, preventing the import of motorcycle spare parts, and dealing with the phenomenon of illegal immigration, in a way that contributes to providing a safe environment for citizens.

The meeting stressed the importance of vigilance and caution on the military fronts, and the continuation of joint security efforts and effective coordination between the various concerned fronts to enhance security and stability in Taiz.

The Security Committee had approved in its previous meeting a weekly meeting during the holy month of Ramadan.
