The terrorist Houthi militia called on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to quickly complete the "road map" for a solution in Yemen, accusing the United States of obstructing it.
Member of the Houthi militia negotiating delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ajri, said, "The release of the crew of the Galaxy Leader ship represents an occasion to complete the peace efforts, the roadmap, and the serious engagement of the concerned parties, led by Saudi Arabia."
He added in a tweet on the XN platform: "The release of the crew of the Galaxy ship came within the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman to calm the region and support peace in Yemen, in coordination with the Palestinian resistance," he claimed.
Al-Ajri accused Washington of obstructing the signing of the roadmap and creating obstacles in its way.
The release of the crew of the Galaxy ship, as part of the Sultanate’s efforts to achieve regional calm and support peace in Yemen, and in coordination with the Palestinian resistance, constitutes an opportunity to complete the peace efforts and the roadmap and serious engagement by the concerned parties, headed by Saudi Arabia, and to stop the obstructing parties, headed by the United States…

Yesterday, the crew of the ship (Galaxy Leader) consisting of 25 people left Sana'a after they were released on board an Omani plane, 14 months after the Houthis kidnapped them in the Red Sea.
The roadmap was drafted between Saudi Arabia and the Houthi militia with support from Muscat and met most of the Houthis’ interests. Its signing was hindered by the Houthi militia’s escalation in the Red Sea in late 2023, and the militia accuses Washington of obstructing its signing.
Observers believe that the Houthi militia's release of the kidnapped sailors and its appeal to Saudi Arabia to quickly complete the "roadmap" deal are part of its attempts to avoid further US sanctions on it, but the Trump administration did not give it time and reclassified it as a foreign terrorist organization.
The new US classification will tighten the noose on the Houthi militia, and cut off any relations or communications with it by any entities, countries or organizations that will be exposed to severe economic and financial sanctions.
