Fatima Saleh Babtain Medical Centers for the care of kidney failure patients in Hadhramaut Valley (eastern Yemen) revealed that it provided thousands of medical services during the past year.
Assistant Professor Saeed Broished - Director of Fatima Babtain Medical Centers, explained in a press release that the total number of patients receiving blood dialysis services from within the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert Directorates reached (515) cases, while the total number of patients benefiting from outside Hadhramaut Valley reached (221) beneficiaries, including the Hadhramaut Coast and other governorates, including 3 cases from outside Yemen.
Broished pointed out that the total number of hemodialysis sessions reached (38,199) sessions, stressing that the centers provided other qualitative services to patients, including major and minor operations, from which (361) beneficiaries benefited, as well as kidney transplant operations, from which 6 cases benefited.
He pointed out that the total number of visitors to the specialized clinic reached (1652) beneficiaries, as well as laboratory tests (1861) beneficiaries, and home treatments were provided to patients, from which (732) patients benefited.
He stressed that these efforts reflect the pioneering humanitarian role played by Fatima Babtain Centers, in cooperation with supporting partners, to ensure a better life and provide humanitarian service to kidney failure patients.
It is noteworthy that these services were funded by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, implemented by Prince Fahad bin Salman Charitable Association for the Care of Kidney Failure Patients (Kulana), and the field partner, Silah Development Foundation.
