Hadramout.. Fatima Saleh Babtain Medical Centers announces the provision of activities and events for World Kidney Day this year

Fatima Saleh Babtain Medical Centers in Hadhramaut Valley (eastern Yemen) confirmed that it intends to present events and activities for World Kidney Day this year, due to the World Day coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan.

This year, World Kidney Day falls on March 13, 2025, which falls during the holy month of Ramadan.

In the context of preparations and arrangements for the events, Mr. Mosaed Saeed Broished, Director of Fatima Babtain Medical Centers for the Care of Kidney Failure Patients in Hadhramaut Valley, explained that the centers will launch a series of diverse awareness activities and programs, in an advanced manner this year, starting from the beginning of next February and continuing for two weeks.

He pointed out in a press statement distributed to the media that these programs will include the fourth scientific medical meeting in which a number of doctors and specialists will participate and will discuss a number of topics related to kidney failure, as well as awareness visits to colleges, institutes and high schools in Hadhramaut Valley, as well as mobile specialized clinics, awareness sports activities, and awareness programs through various media outlets.

Broished pointed out that for the 12th consecutive year, the centers have been carrying out these awareness activities in the community, with the aim of spreading health culture and reducing the spread of kidney failure.

It is noteworthy that World Kidney Day 2025 will be under the slogan "Are your kidneys okay? Early detection protects kidney health."
