Champions League: PSG sweeps Brest, qualifies, Juventus exits the tournament

Paris Saint-Germain swept aside its compatriot Brest 7-0 and qualified for the Champions League round of 16, while Juventus left the tournament after losing to PSV Eindhoven, who secured the qualification ticket.
Paris Saint-Germain showed off their seven-goal haul against Brest in the second leg of the Champions League play-off on Wednesday, qualifying for the last 16 after winning the two legs (10-0).
Bradley Barkola opened the scoring in the 20th minute, Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added the second goal in the 39th minute, before Portuguese Vitinha scored the third goal in the 59th minute and Desiree Doue scored the fourth goal in the 64th minute.

Portuguese Nuno Mendes scored the fifth goal in the 69th minute, then Portuguese Goncalo Ramos added the sixth goal in the 76th minute before substitute Seni Maiolo scored the seventh goal in the 86th minute.
In this match, Paris Saint-Germain achieved its biggest win in the history of European competitions.
Juventus out of the tournament
In another match, the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven succeeded in snatching a ticket to qualify for the round of 16 after defeating its guest, the Italian club Juventus (3-1) after extra time on Wednesday in the second leg of the play-off, making up for its loss (1-2) in the first leg.
Croatian Ivan Perisic opened the scoring for the home team (53) and American Timothy Weah equalized for Juventus (63) before Moroccan Ismail Saibari (74) scored the second goal for Eindhoven, sending the match into extra time.

In the first extra time, defender Ryan Flamengo managed to score the third goal (98) for Eindhoven, allowing the Dutch club to advance by winning the two-legged match (4-3).
PSV Eindhoven reached the Champions League round of 16 in two consecutive seasons for the first time since 2006-07, while Juventus failed to reach this stage in two consecutive participations for the first time in the Champions League under its current name since 1992-93.
