Liverpool in a revenge match against Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League

Liverpool face a new challenge in their campaign to regain the English Premier League title when they visit Nottingham Forest on Tuesday in the 21st round of the competition.

Liverpool, who are at the top of the table with 46 points and still have a postponed match with Everton, are looking to kill more than one bird with one stone when they meet Nottingham, who are in third place with 40 points.

Chelsea, who are in fourth place with 36 points, aim to put an end to the bad luck that has plagued them in the recent period, during their match against their guest Bournemouth on Tuesday in the opening matches of the stage.

Chelsea failed to achieve any victory in its last four matches in the tournament, which witnessed two draws and two losses, causing its ranking to drop in the list, and it is 10 points behind the leaders.

Chelsea's mission will be fraught with danger against Bournemouth, who are in seventh place with 33 points, and who have maintained their unbeaten record in their last eight matches in the tournament.

Manchester United, who are in 13th place with 23 points, have a good chance of achieving their first victory in the championship in a month, when they host Southampton (bottom of the standings) with only 6 points next Thursday, who are quickly moving towards returning to the first division (Championship) in light of their very modest results.
