Why Omar Marmoush chose the number 7 with Manchester City

Omar Marmoush has officially moved to Manchester City for 4 and a half seasons, coming from the German team Eintracht Frankfurt.
The new Egyptian star in the English Premier League, Marmoush, chose the No. 7 shirt, which was previously worn by players such as Mike Summerbee, David White, David Rocastle, Georgi Kinkladze, and Raheem Sterling.
Marmoush was very happy when he learned that the number 7 was available at Manchester City (no one currently wears this number in the English team), indicating that there is no special reason for wearing the number 7 shirt, but he prefers it over the other numbers because when he was young, his brother loved this number, so the Egyptian player decided to continue wearing it.
Marmoush, who has been dubbed the "Egyptian Prince of City", expressed his happiness at joining the English Premier League team, saying: "This is a day I will never forget. Signing for Manchester City, one of the best teams in the world, is an amazing feeling. I am happy and my family is very proud to be here in Manchester."

For its part, the English team welcomed Marmoush, saying: "Manchester City is pleased to announce the signing of Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt. The 25-year-old Egyptian striker's contract will last for four and a half years, meaning he will remain at the club until the summer of 2029."
City added: "Marmoush is one of the most sought-after young strikers in Europe and is capable of playing on either wing."
The Egyptian star (who wore the number 7 jersey with Frankfurt) attracted attention after he shone this season by scoring 20 goals and providing 14 assists in 26 matches in various competitions with the German team.
The Egyptian national team player is second in the Bundesliga scorers list with 15 goals, one goal behind Englishman Harry Kane, Bayern Munich striker and top scorer, and has 25 goal contributions in the league (scoring 15 and providing 10 assists).
