The brilliant striker Chris Wood surprised Liverpool by scoring the first goal for Nottingham Forest in the eighth minute, and in the 66th minute, Diogo Jota managed to score the equalizer for Liverpool.

Thus, Liverpool completely failed to achieve victory this season over Nottingham Forest, as they lost to them at Anfield by a clean goal before the second leg ended in a positive draw on Tuesday evening.

Nottingham Forest moved up to second place temporarily after raising its score to 41 points, while Liverpool strengthened its position at the top with 47 points.

Brentford draw with City

Christian Norgaard's stoppage-time header earned Brentford a 2-2 draw with Manchester City.

After struggling to create chances in the first half, City finally took the lead in the 66th minute when Kevin De Bruyne sent in a brilliant pass from the right and Foden met it with a shot towards the far post.

Foden scored the second goal 11 minutes later, hitting the rebound from inside the box after the goalkeeper had saved Savinho's first shot, but Yoani Wissa managed to reduce the deficit in the 82nd minute with a shot from close range.

Denmark international Norgaard completed Brentford's comeback in the second minute of stoppage time, heading the ball powerfully past Stefan Ortega, despite the City goalkeeper putting his hand to keep the ball out.

Bournemouth hold Chelsea to a draw

The match between Chelsea and its guest Bournemouth ended in a draw (2-2).

Chelsea star Cole Palmer opened the scoring for his team in the 13th minute, and substitute Justin Kluivert managed to score the equalizer for the visitors in the 50th minute.

In the 68th minute, Antoine Semenyo surprised the home team by scoring the second goal for Bournemouth, before Reece James saved Chelsea by scoring the equaliser in the 90+5th minute.

Chelsea raised its score to 37 points in fourth place, while Bournemouth's score reached 34 points.

West Ham win with new manager Potter

West Ham United beat London rivals Fulham 3-2 to claim victory in new manager Graham Potter's first game in charge.

Carlos Soler and Tomas Soucek scored two goals in two minutes to stun the visitors who had dominated the first half.

Alex Iwobi pulled one back shortly after the break but a blunder from visiting goalkeeper Bernd Leno gifted West Ham a third through Lucas Paqueta.

Ayoubi pulled one back with his second goal of the game and Fulham dominated towards the end but the home side held on to secure the win.

The win lifted West Ham to 26 points in 12th place, while Fulham dropped to ninth place with 30 points after their first defeat in nine matches in the English Premier League.
