A soldier was injured in a Houthi militia shelling north of Lahj Governorate

A soldier was injured today, Saturday, in a bombing by the terrorist Houthi militia on the positions of the Transitional Council forces in Al-Masemir District, north of Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.

Local sources said that the militias launched artillery shelling at dawn today on the positions of the Security Belt Forces in the "Al-Kasaha" hills in the "Qurain and Habil Al-Hasin" sector, located northwest of Al-Masimir Al-Hawasheb.

The sources explained that the bombing resulted in the injury of soldier Amin Shaher Al-Hawshbi, a member of the Security Belt in the Al-Masemir Al-Hawashab sector.

Clashes and mutual shelling erupt from time to time on the fronts north of Lahj, between formations affiliated with the government forces on the one hand and the Houthi militia on the other.
