Three people were killed and another injured, all from the same family, in a dispute over a plot of land fueled by the Houthi militia in one of the towns of Amran Governorate (northern Yemen).

Local sources said that a dispute between citizens from the "Kara'a" family in the "Houth" directorate in Amran governorate, over a plot of land, turned into an armed conflict yesterday evening after it was fueled by the Houthi militia, and led to the death of three people and the injury of a fourth.

The sources added that (Amin Mohsen Kara'a, Silan Ahmed Hadi Kara'a, and Nasr Abdullah Hadi Kara'a) were killed in the clash, and (Adel Hadi Kara'a) was moderately injured.

The sources indicated that the dispute between the family members had been going on for a long time and had not been resolved by the director of the directorate appointed by the Houthi militia, who sided with one of the parties, a position that led to the escalation of the conflict between the two parties to the point of fighting.

The governorates under the control of the Houthi militia are witnessing a noticeable increase in murders resulting from land conflicts, in light of the involvement of Houthi leaders in these conflicts and their incitement.
