Foreign Minister announces imminent reopening of Yemeni embassy in Damascus

Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Shaye Mohsen Al-Zindani announced today, Monday, the imminent reopening of the Yemeni embassy in Damascus, which has been closed for ten years.
This came during a phone call he made with his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Al-Sheibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Syrian Transitional Government, to congratulate the brotherly Syrian people on their victory.
During the call, Al-Zindani stressed the position of the Yemeni political leadership and government in support of the brothers in Syria, indicating Yemen's readiness to resume the activity of its embassy in Damascus soon.
He stressed the importance of strengthening Yemeni-Syrian relations, which enjoy the attention of the leadership of the two countries, in a way that serves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
