Diallo leads Manchester United to victory with a hat-trick in the last minutes

Ivorian Diallo stole the show after being the standout performer in Manchester United's thrilling win over Southampton, with a hat-trick in the last ten minutes, on Thursday in the 21st round of the English Premier League.

Manchester United found themselves behind due to an own goal scored by Uruguayan Ugarte in the forty-third minute.

Manchester United were on course for a shock defeat at bottom club Southampton before they rallied thanks to Diallo's stunning hat-trick.

But Manchester United were the better side throughout the match, especially in terms of the big chances available to score, which amounted to five chances compared to one chance for the visitors. Manchester United also shot on 23 occasions compared to 13 for Southampton, before Diallo’s brilliance crowned the Red Devils’ superiority.

Diallo managed to equalize the score in the 82nd minute, then added the second goal himself in the 90th minute before concluding his historic hat-trick in the fourth minute of stoppage time.

Manchester United raised its score to 26 points in twelfth place, while Southampton remained in last place with six points.
