Manchester United fall at home, Nottingham continues to shine, and Everton defeats Tottenham

Manchester United fell at home to Brighton, while Nottingham Forest continued to shine with a win over Southampton, and Everton earned full points against Tottenham on Sunday in the 22nd round of the English Premier League.

Manchester United lost 1-3 to Brighton at home in front of their fans.

Brighton's goals were scored by Gambian Yankuba Minteh 5, Japanese Kaoru Mitoma 60, and Frenchman Jorginho Rutter 76.

Manchester United's only goal was scored by Portuguese Bruno Fernandes in the 23rd minute from a penalty kick.

United's points froze at 26 in thirteenth place, while Brighton's points became 34 in ninth place.

Nottingham Forest continued their excellent journey in the English Premier League, achieving a 3-2 victory over their guest, Southampton.

Elliot Anderson 11, Callum Hudson-Odoi 28, and Chris Wood 28 scored for the winner.

The losing team's goals were scored by Jan Bednarek 60 and Paul Onuachu 90+1.

Nottingham's tally now stands at 44 points in third place, on goal difference from Arsenal in second place, while Southampton's tally stopped at 6 points in last place.

Tottenham fall to Everton

Everton beat visiting Tottenham Hotspur 3-2, Dominic Calvert-Lewin put the home side ahead in the 13th minute, and in the 30th minute Iliman Ndiaye doubled the lead with a second goal.

In the extra time of the first half, the visitors' player Archie Gray gave Everton the third goal by mistake in his own goal, before Dejan Kolo-Sevski reduced the score for the visitors in the 77th minute, and in the last breaths of the match, Richarlison scored the second goal for his team, Tottenham, without sparing them the loss.
