Aden...The Justice and Democracy Party accuses the security services of luring its president to a police station and arresting him

The Justice and Democracy Party in Aden accused the security services of luring the party's leader (Muhammad Omar Zain Al-Saqqaf) and illegally arresting him, calling for his speedy release.

The party said in a statement on its Facebook page that the “Kabota” police in the city of Aden summoned the party’s leader, Muhammad al-Saqqaf, on Thursday, by assigning an attendance whose nature was not clarified, and upon his arrival at the station, he was arrested.

The party described the illegal detention measures of its leader, Al-Saqqaf, as a “luring operation,” and warned the security and local services in Aden not to harm him, and held them responsible for any harm that might befall him.

The party appealed to the Ministry of Interior and the relevant agencies in Aden to work to speed up his release.
